Outstanding Results in Achilles B2 Audit

The 4R Group along with its 4R Reassurance division, proudly announces its exceptional performance in the Achilles B2 Audit, reinforcing its commitment to safety, health, environment, quality (SHEQ) management systems, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The 4R Group stands out as a prominent participant, utilising the UVDB utility industry pre-qualification system across the UK. The Achilles award enables 4R Group to work with some key clients by demonstrating their commitment to the above areas in a quantifiable way.

As of the end of November, 4R Group underwent a rigorous two-day audit under the Achilles B2 scheme, which meticulously assessed its SHEQ management systems and CSR practices. This audit serves as a benchmark for the company's dedication to safety, environmental responsibility, and overall quality. The achievement of a rare 100% across all areas reflects 4R Group's unwavering commitment to excellence.

The comprehensive audit, involving both on-site inspections and thorough document reviews, is a testament to 4R Group's proactive approach to staying at the forefront of industry practices. The audit covered various aspects, including construction phase plans, sub-contractor audits, site inductions, PPE registers, operator certificates, RAMS, and more.

Zoe Winlow, 4R Group’s Compliance Lead, says, “At the end of November, we were audited under the Achilles B2 scheme which assesses our Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) management systems and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This enables us to work with some key clients by demonstrating our commitment to the above areas in a quantifiable way. I am very pleased to say we achieved 100% across all areas which is rarely awarded. The audit is detailed, lasting 2 days and covering a broad range of on-site and paperwork-based checks, and is also an excellent way for us to ensure we are at the forefront of our industry practices.”

Esme Brown, 4R Group's Health and Safety Lead, also played a crucial role in the audit process this year, delivering numerous sections related to health and safety. The audit, which involved scrutiny of both on-site facilities and extensive office-based evidence, showcased the company's dedication to maintaining the highest standards.

The audit process delved into company management systems, with the 4R Group’s team providing over 100 evidence examples during the two-day evaluation. These included boiler service reports, MOT renewal and vehicle maintenance evidence, schedules, deployments, soil samples, permits, training documents, meeting registers, and more.

Achieving a perfect 100% pass rate across all three audit pillars is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and meticulous record-keeping exhibited by 4R Group's team.

4R Group remains steadfast in its commitment to excellence, setting a high standard for industry practices and reinforcing its position as a leader in the utilities market.
