It is a tailored plan which accounts for your soil analysis, cropping plans, livestock numbers, manure & fertiliser spreading, and imported organics. It specifies what nutrients to apply where, when, and how much, ensuring efficiency, maximised yield and legal compliance.

4R provides two farm visits per year, a whole-farm and enterprise breakdown audit, a farmer-friendly visual report (in person or online), benchmarking against similar farming enterprises, specific recommendations, and grant guidance. The audits are validated and PAS2050 certified.

Once you have selected the assurance scheme you want (e.g. Red Tractor, M&S, Arla, etc.), we will help to ensure your farm operations meet the standards required, and support you with pre-audit assessments, tailored farm assurance files and action plans to prepare for inspection and compliance.

Agriculture has specific legal requirements (contracts, working time, health & safety, employment rights) which, if not properly managed, can expose the farm to risk of employment claims, penalties, or loss of assurance. 4R helps by preparing documents (contracts, letters, handbooks), auditing HR processes, ensuring policies are up-to-date, and helping you avoid legal pitfalls.

4R offers courses such as Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day), First Aid at Work (3 days), additional modules or add-ons such as Forestry First Aid, all delivered by qualified, experienced trainers.
